IN DIALOGUE WITH XUBING

In July, Xu Bing will pull on three deep and thorough discussions about his artworks and the Contemporary Chinese Art with the students, professor and the public in Heidelberg, Germany.

Starting from July 10th 2015, we invite you to an exciting series of events at the University of Heidelberg, dedicating to a new interpretation of contemporary Chinese art with a focus on the artworks of Xu Bing. The artist will pull on dialogues with the students and scientists throughout three consecutive meetings. This series of events are designed and conducted by Prof. Sarah E. Fraser, Department of East Asian Art History (IKO) and Li Yu-Chieh, a PhD student at IKO, in cooperation with the NET1 Research Group, the Heidelberg Centre of Transcultural Studies (HCTS), the Institute of European art history and the Heidelberger Kunstverein.
